Salami from Banat

Once upon a time, there was a sausage whose special taste made all the people in Romania crave it. We don’t know exactly who was its inspired creator, just that it named it Western salami. We appreciated it so much, that we kept both its name and its traditional recipe. To obtain it, we carefully select beef and pork meats which we season as we know best, with chosen spices that give it an unmistakable flavor. Then, after we smoke and age it gently, the marvelous salami acquires a special taste which delights everybody’s senses. It’s no wonder that it’s loved by everyone from all across the country.

Ingredients: pork; lard; salt; grapes sugar; spices (mustard); flavor enhacer: monosodium glutamate; antioxidants: isoascorbate acid, sodium erythorbate; starter crop; dye: carmine; preservative: sodium nitrite.
